Ayurvedic Upanaham treatment is used for pain relief, osteoarthritis, swelling, and bursitis. ⁠It is also beneficial for heel pain.⁠ ⁠ During this Ayurvedic treatment, medicated oil is applied to the affected area, followed by a herbal paste. Herbal leaves are used to cover the paste, which in turn is wrapped in a cotton bandage and left, before being washed off with lukewarm water.
