Yes, I know - U-Control means "control line". Honestly I had never heard the term before. When I was a teenager building my first powered planes, I flew them in a circle with only elevator control using a wire and it was called "Control Line" vs "Radio Control" or "Rubber band powered". So I get it - the Guillow's model is designed for either rubber powered free flight, gas powered free flight, or control line (U-Control). At first when I did the unboxing, I didn't think it needed "yet another unboxing" video, but when I opened the box and saw the yellowing pages of these ancient plans, and the paper order form for ordering replacement parts, oh and the beautiful turned wooden wheels, I knew I had to talk it through. Hope you like it. Please consider subscribing, there will be more to come! There are lots of interesting videos in my Sopwith Camel playlist: /playlist/PL9Qx6K4kAW69RXnYnYt-HXWRe9oMwgnCM Not just my videos, I've also included some great videos of restored Sopwith Camels in the air, an interview with Sir Thomas Sopwith and some of the other videos that have inspired me during the build.
