BEST of Calen Chan 2017-2018 | Parkour and Freerunning

The last 2 years have been the best in my life. I made many changes in my heart and found greater happiness with my new girlfriend and choosing to serve God. I was willing to sacrifice everything in my career to do the right thing, and God accepted the offering I made by serving those 6 months in New Zealand. Thank you all for supporting me! This is my best video yet so enjoy!! :) For those who haven't heard why I'm back yet: "On January 19th, after 6 months of service as a full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, my journey in New Zealand came to an unexpected end. Knowing beforehand that I struggled with depression, anxiety, and an autoimmune disorder that affected my sleep, Heavenly Father commanded me to serve and I knew He would provide the way. For the first 4 months on my mission, it was a miracle. I was able to wake up 6:30am every day and although my depression and anxiety were a challenge, God gave me divine strength to a point that allowed me to function effectively, and to grow from my trials and learn to love and serve others. Eventually God allowed these health issues to come back and I later found out that His plan for me had a different path in store. My depression and anxiety got to a severe point and although I tried every resource that could help and everything I could do to stay the whole 2 years, God revealed to my mission leaders and my loved ones that He now needed me to come home to do a greater work. From my mission I passed the test of obedience and sacrifice, I got to serve and meet many wonderful people, and through my struggles God changed me into a completely new person which will bring me blessings for the rest of my life and also the lives of my future family. You never know what God's will is until He reveals it to you, but as long as you trust Him, He will ALWAYS give you the best outcome in the end. He has for me, and I will never doubt His infinite love and wisdom. I know that God the Father and Jesus Christ live. I know that the message I have carried to the people of New Zealand is true, and that God still talks to us today through the Holy Ghost and also through His chosen prophet today who's name is President Russell M. Nelson. I know that the priesthood and saving ordanences are back on the Earth, and that through them we can have eternal life and live with our families together forever. It has been an honor to be called Elder Chan for the time I was there and I'm gonna miss it greatly, but I am excited to begin this new chapter in my life and continue to progress until God calls me back into His presence. I am excited to see you all again and also to jump back into my passion of doing Parkour and Freerunning! Thank you all from NZ or at home who have supported me through your love and prayers!
