Welcome to Part 32 of our first playthrough of Baldur's Gate 3- today's episode is packed full of content! We start off by heading down into the depths only to discover Gortash's private prison, The Iron Throne. We attempt to rescue as many of the prisoners as we can, but most importantly we save Wyll's father, Grand Duke Ravengard, who tells of a giant dragon sleeping beneath Wyrm's Rock Fortress. We then go back to camp and drift off to sleep, which ends in an unexpected way with The Emperor... Finally we head to Sorcerous Sundries where Gale finds The Annals of Karsus! Watch as we continue to explore the amazing city of Baldur's Gate!! Baldur's Gate III is a role-playing video game developed and published by Larian Studios. It is the third main game in the Baldur's Gate series, which is based on the Dungeons & Dragons tabletop role-playing system. @SunniestAutumn8 months ago Mystra really is an incredibly petty, self-righteous goddess. First she tells Gale to kill himself in her nane for "forgiveness" without even letting him know her true motivation, the destruction of the crown. Then, when you find out about the crown on your own, she sends her favorite lackey Elminster to tell you off and go see the teacher after class. If you tell Elminster off for Mystra's unfair treatment of Gale, he lashes out like a child, going on about how Mystra deals with godly matters and can't be held to the same moral standards as mortals.
I am not a wizard, but I see why so many of them seek to surpass her supervision. As Lae'zel said, she expects Gale to have complete faith in her while herself having no faith in Gale. Using the crown is definitely not a wise decision by any measure, but a wise wizard can choose the right fate regarding it while still telling Mystra exactly where to shove it. ... 10

@blackwater41008 months ago I LOVE how the alarm sound of the Iron Throne fits the music so perfectly. It is at this was done on purpose by the devs. Maybe. Was a very fasctinating rescue mission, I absolutely loved it. 6

@HughLlewellyn6 months ago Well. THAT was tense. But you managed to get most of the hostages out of the Iron Throne. I was impressed that the spiritual weapon managed to hold off 5 or more of the sahaugins. Skin of the teeth escape! Good job!

Back in the day, my half elf Bard, Harmony, had a relationship with Storm Silverhand in our 2nd edition AD&D campaign. They met when Harmony and his party were tracking the Zhentarim. Storm and the Harpers were also hunting them. The Silverhand room in the vaults made me nostalgic. ... 1

@MrEvilside8 months ago I saved almost everyone (two Gondian we killed in process). Also mine and Lae'zel's dead bodies were washed up somewhere. Very romantic, cause I romanced here.
Poor Shadowheart was searching whole city for her bestie Lae'zel to revive her. and also me ... 1

@disastrouslylargeicedmocha8 months ago The way I was yelling internally when you were sending Shadowheart to help Duke Ravenguard and asked "Do we have a scroll of Misty step?", looked at most of Shadowheart's spell list and somehow just missed Dimension Door! Gods above that was SO stressful!! 😂 ... 1

@Timmah738 months ago I came so damn close to saving everyone but the ones in the second cage in the room with the two big cells were just short on time. I had Astarian dash/misty step down there like crazy too. You pretty much have to get both cells in round 2 or they are doomed.
The real MVP was Omelumm who I was able to rescue very quickly, had him immediatly port him and Shadowheart back to the sub and then every round had him go back down the ladder to port back people falling behind. ... 3
