Italian Guardia di Finanza FB Design northbound Chios Strait under FRONTEX.

Italian Guardia di Finanza FB Design V7002 northbound Chios Strait in east Aegean Sea just arrived to replace sister vessel V7000 under Frontex. This is a special version of the FB 60’ SF “Ognitempo”, expressly developed for Guardia di Finanza. The boat is 18,80m length and 4,40m width, powered by 2 MTU V10 series 2000 engines of 1620 Hp, with a top speed at full load of 54 knots. The FB 60’ SF is equipped with all possible electronic instrumentation, including Tamam optronic dual G.E.M. radars, Rohde & Schwarz radios, with the general overview of Elettronica Marittima and IAI MiniPOP EO/IR system. http://www.fbdesign.it/news/item/158-60gdf
