It just looked really weird but I found A LOT of cool things about it in person like the gold drumshell binding and a "prototype" marking in the neck pickup cavity as well as an erased part of the "signature" Since the posting of this video, we were able to disprove this being a Sanata prototype, but confirm it was an experimental Gibson creation! It initially came out of the Roger Benet collection back in the early 2000s after he passed away. It was a prototype made by Greg Rich and Mark Taylor, but it was never owned by Carlos Santana. Carlos played up in Montreal and Roger took the guitar and had him sign it there.
