@laurenf93614 years ago As a mom, especially to young kids, self means to me that time (honestly in any form) that I get to be aware of myself, and prioritize myself, and not feel guilt about doing so. Im really open to a wide range of ways to incorporate that me time. Im an outdoorsy girl at heart, so I usually love to find a way to get out for a hike, biking, rock climbing when possible etc..but other times, my me time is that short time before my children wake up, to sit and truly enjoy all the senses with a cup of coffee, do a guided mediation.and again, other times, self care is time spent with a good friend, over a good meal, especially during this pandemic. It really sets the tone of being more aware of oneself, and enjoying the things that you may have taken for granted before. As a parent, that seems so apparent, at least for me, and on top of all of that, I am a frontline healthcare worker.Self care as a parent and frontline worker, is for me, taking the opportunity to be selfish, but in the positive sense. Making use of aproduct (fish scales) in a cosmetic product that also happens to be natural is something to tentatively applaud, i think. Whether it' s safe for human use in topical applications; if it' sfriendly to some degree; or even how it compares in quality to other glitter sources such as mica, synthetic glitter, minerals, etc. Etc.
