The Bearded Princess (22nd Birthday Vlog-film)

Today on my champagne birthday I am sharing the story I have hidden away for 22 years. I thought it was finally time to come clean and share with the world the truth - my truth, in the only way I know how. In this film, The Bearded Princess, I dive into my struggles and how I've learned to cope with wanting to have been born a woman. There's always been a girl in my head and she's waited desperately to get out. It's been hard to "come out" to a world which seeks to hate femininity and feminine men altogether, especially those who are straight like me. I needed to make this film not for your praise or sympathy but perhaps to save a life. In 5 chapters spanning 25 minutes I share the many ways I have learned to love and accept myself - this includes surrounding myself with incredible women, dressing differently, transmuting negative energy and taking risks. This is not your regular "coming out" video, I do not just stare into the camera, this is a real film telling a real story that has taken me YEARS to understand and comprehend. I understand I will lose more people, I will lose subscribers and may be looked down upon in society but I couldn't live another minute hiding her away. Along with this film, I have launched a GoFundMe under the name Fiercely Feminine in honour of all the incredible women I know and in honour of the #HELPINGHANDCHALLENGE.
