Tourism industry the victim of a ‘Russian roulette mentality’

Enterprise North Managing Director Kevin Byrne says the closing of Queensland’s border is “really tearing the heart out of the tourism industry”. “There is a complete lack of enthusiasm for want of a better term,” Mr Byrne told Sky News host Chris Smith. “The moment we get a break, a couple of days later the doors are shut. “The tourism industry here is really a victim of a Russian roulette type mentality being played out across the borders.”
