Does vitamin B1 help with plant growth

If you are a plant parent in asia, you will inevitably be advised by senior/experienced plant parents to de-stress your plants with Vitamin B-1 especially after transit shock or propagation. There are also claims that vitamin B-1 supports faster and healthier growth. In this video I put the claims to the test as I grow 2 plants side by side, one with vitamin B-1 and one that isn’t.
