You said TALKER by pronouncing each letter, but it's not the way that it is pronounced, the L is completely silent, and therefore it is pronounced like TAKER When you have read this sentence : (In Sugarcandy Mountain it was Sunday seven days a week, clover was in season all the year round, and lump sugar and linseed cake grew on the hedges.) you have explained it as if you're talking about something that happened in the past but actually it's not, Moses was talking about present or future and it's called the unreal past, click on this link and you will understand what I mean. http://www.theenglishbureau.com/blog/unreal-past/ .... and it's the same case in Arabic for instance if we say (اتمنى لو كانت كل هذه الصحراء مخضرة) we are using the past كانت but we are talking about الوقت الحاضر او المستقبل.
