The Finnish Virtual Pilots server has both aircraft and tanks that can be spawned on the front line. Both have the objective of destroying the fortified ground objectives located at the front line, but aircraft and tanks can engage each other on the way to the target. This video has some highlights from action that occurred on the Finnish server during one of the multiplayer rounds. We had some player aircraft engage us while we were on the ground and showed them that tanks can bite back. The M4 Sherman is somewhat hilariously effective as an anti-air platform with its single mounted M2 .50 caliber gun. It will be quite exciting to see what happens when player-controlled anti air weapons are introduced. Some notes: At 02:39, the Bf110 did not exactly try to crash his plane into us. It appears that the pilot was killed or knocked unconscious at that exact moment (notice how he lurches in the cockpit). At 03:59, the Fw190s engine appears to be damaged, and the engine also sounds as if it is running rough. However, the coward denied us the kill since he disconnected from the server at 04:17. Civil was right. The Hs129 frontal armor could not be penetrated by the .50 cal on the Sherman.
