Gabe Sterling, the COO and CFO for the office of the Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, talks with Katie about the new controversial voting law that is the root of new economic boycotts of Georgia. Sterling defends the law, and criticizes the claims of voter suppression tactics being made by Democratic party officials, business leaders, and celebrities and influencers as merely partisan politics, and targeting of Southern politician with accents. Black leaders in the AME church are calling for economic boycotts of Georgia products like Coca-Cola, whose executives' condemnation of the bill was seen as too little, too late. Other business leaders are also taking economic action against the sate of Georgia, and Major League Baseball has decided to move its 2021 All Star Game out of the scheduled Atlanta ballpark.
