@@farisasmith71094 years ago You don't have to do the toothpicks. Get a pot with some potting soil, put the avocado seed (fat side down, pointy side up) in the soil cover with the tip sticking out. Keep soil moist, and in a couple of weeks you start to see it germinate. ... 2

@@ssr68364 years ago Hi I put my avocado seed in the water about altile over 3 months ago and I can't tell when it is ready to get potted because mine doesn't look like yours and the root has gotten pretty long but there is no leaves and only a short stub on top.
